The Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Krakow, together with the City of Krakow, organized a nationwide meeting on Thursday, October 8, called the Krakow Meeting of Economic and Local Self-Governments.
The meeting was attended by representatives of large provincial cities, municipalities near Krakow and leaders of key economic organizations. The assumption of the Krakow Meeting was to create a Local Government Think Tank, the aim of which will be an effective and long-term strategy to combat the effects of the economic crisis by developing cooperation between business, all levels of administration and expert base. The meeting ended with a discussion and the setting up of working groups that, with the help of experts, will develop specific proposals for solutions.
